Useful pump feature The new facilities include a multi-purpose heat pump for heating and cooling as well as hot water for domestic use. In this system, Grundfos MAGNA3 circulators have proven very advantageous, as a report to the energy authorities about the energy consumption is mandatory in Hungary. “It is very useful for my colleagues to be able to collect all the consumption data from the pumps, circuit by circuit, thanks to the Grundfos MAGNA3 pumps. Alternatively, they would have been left to collect data from the building automation system which is less adequate,” Kádár Viktor András says. Efficient treasure protection No expense was spared, when the House of Parliament was built in the late nineteenth century as one of the biggest and most beautifully decorated buildings of its time in Hungary, and among other irreplaceable treasures, it houses a Hungarian crown regalia exhibition. All of it is protected by efficient fire-fighting equipment, including Grundfos pumps. Therefore, Kádár Viktor András, already before the refurbishment project had gathered experience in working with Grundfos. ”It is important for us to ensure close cooperation and appropriate coordination between Grundfos and us, and we have an excellent technical connection with Grundfos,” he says, continuing: “I am happy with the support, provided by the Grundfos team. They are very helpful and open-minded.”
