Page 3 of 9 With the Grundfos Go app for both iPhone and Android it is very easy to set up the temperature control on the MAGNA3 as seen from the screenshots below. Energy management with Communication Interface Modules (CIM) In many buildings, an efficient way of reducing recirculation losses is to shut down recirculation outside working hours. By shutting down recirculation you avoid the loss caused from idle in the pipes. The MAGNA3 features digital inputs for external start/stop control. With Grundfos add-on communication modules you are able to connect the pump to an external system (e.g. SCADA or BMS) and for example monitor the tapping pattern, giving useful information for additional energy savings and optimisation in the HWR system. Minimum 55 °C Minimum 55 °C Step 1: Enter Grundfos GO Step 2: Choose the Constant temperature control mode Cold water 10 °C Temperature controlled MAGNA3 Minimum 60 °C Hot water circulation Hot water Cold water Hot water tank Utilising the features of the MAGNA3 makes it possible to achieve energy and operational cost savings as well as savings on investment costs because of the built-in temperature sensor and energy meter. The features also enable easier configuration and control. Step 3: Set the temperature at the desired level. Step 4: Everything is set. The pump will maintain 55 °C To learn more about hot water circulation, scan this QR-code with your smartphone Step 4: Set the flowlimit to the desired level.
