What’s new 3 Denmark anD Hungary FaCTOry VISIT On Sunday 6th of December a group of newly established Grundfos partner started a journey together with Manager Gert Borrits KN OY-CGeneral and Sales Executive Cao Vinh Loc to Europe to visit two of the many Grundfos production facilities on the continent, namely the Head Quarter in Denmark and one of the newest plants in the Hungarian capital Budapest. The main objectives for the trip was firstly to ensure a better understanding of the capabilities of the Grundfos Group as a partner, and secondly to establish a good and solid partnership based on common understandings and win/win situations. Despite a very tight and tough schedule there was also plenty of time to relax with plenty of good gourmet food and see some tourist sites like the little mermaid, the Queens castle, and Tivoli (one of the oldest amusement parks in the world). In Hungary we saw a very beautiful city made up of two key areas namely Buda and Pest becoming Budapest. The city is one of the prettiest in Europe with many preserved buildings dating back 200-300 years. The trip from Denmark to Hungary and back was carried out in the Grundfos owned Jet with private captain which ofcourse always adds a certain class. The Group was also involved in activities such as bowling and a shooting competition held in the Grundfos HQ's training centre in Denmark. "Based on the reaction and comments of the participants on their ret urn, I think it is ver y saf e to say that the trip has been ver y successful and the main objectiv e of creating a strong partnership was fully ac hieved.
