FOREWORD UNFORTUNATELY, SLAVERY IS NOT A THING OF THE PAST. IT IS STILL WITH IN THE GUISE OF “NORMAL” WORK, AND IS VERY OFTEN INVISIBLE. In fact, the International Labour Organisation (ILO) estimates that more than million people are enslaved worldwide, including 24.9 million in forced labo 16 million of these people are exploited in the private sector. At Grundfos, we believe in the importance of freedom for all individuals a are committed to preventing modern slavery in all its forms. We acknowledge that modern slavery is a complex issue; still, together w our suppliers we are proactively working to increase transparency through our global supply chain, because we believe that coordinated, internatio collaboration is one of the most powerful ways to tackle this issue. In the coming years, we will continue to assess the effectiveness of our appro and explore potential solutions to the challenges we face.
