Looking to the future Dear colleague We are off and racing! The first months of 2019 have already passed, and we are all pushing our part of the business towards new goals. But before we put 2018 behind us, there is time to congratulate ourselves on an impressive effort, in a year which again saw high sales growth, rising market share and record-high customer loyalty. Despite the slightly disappointing earnings, this was a very strong performance. On behalf of Group Management, I would like to say a big thank you to all employees. One of this year’s major tasks will be to roll out our 2025 Strategy. This will help set the direction for our business and our common goals for the coming period. It is exciting and important work we have ahead of us. And I look forward to everyone getting told a lot more about this initiative. merely posters hanging on the walls. I am confident we can do this! You will recognise much of the 2025 strategy as a continuation of our 2020 strategy, but with adjustments to the direction or pace in some areas. Plus a few key areas where we will significantly raise the bar. We will work even harder to create a market-leading platform for water solutions, and accelerate our efforts to bring new, digital possibilities to our customers. We have the strongest brand, the most capable people, an owner with a long-term perspective, and a clear direction. And our business is going very well, despite many uncertainties in the market. So I am confident that we will together succeed again in achieving great results and creating solutions that help the world address the huge challenges related to water and climate change.
