Variable frequency drives for pumps The Grundfos CUE is an external variable frequency drive that unlocks the potential for improving the operation and efficiency of your pumps and systems. With more than 100 different configuration possibilities, encompassing a power range up to 750 HP (560 kW), the CUE is a versatile variable frequency drive suited for pump applications in municipalities, buildings, or industrial settings. Built-in pump functions • Multi-pump function (up to 8 pumps) including alternation, duty/standby, backup, cascade, and multi-master cascade • Predefined application control modes - Uses pre-programmed data for different Grundfos pump families. During installation, the correct values are set for specific pumps for optimum performance and protection of the pump. • Closed-loop control options - Proportional pressure and flow estimation - Constant control via closed-loop feedback > Flow, pressure, temperature, level, differential pressure, and more - Set-point Influence • Stop functions - Low flow stop function - Stop at minimum speed function • Dry-running protection • Motor bearing supervision (requires additional IO module) • Limit Exceed - The pump reacts to a measured or an internal value exceeding a user-defined limit.
