GRUNDFOS FOUNDATION CITIZENSHIP 2021 Grundfos People Awards Grundfos People Awards stimulate and reward the contribution of the Grundfos employees both at work and in their spare time. The purpose is to celebrate the Grundfos culture and inspire employees across the globe to make a positive difference in their own and in other peoples’ lives. Innovation Award (EUR 30,000) The prize money is divided equally between the members of each winning team: Sustainability Bruno Kiilerich, Kristine Husballe Munk, Loreen Ople Villacorte, Mads Veje Knudsen and Pernille Pilmann Davidsen , Denmark: For developing the Grundfos WEsave – a sustainable cooling tower operation with novel Nano Filtration technology offering large energy efficiency and water savings. Technology Dominik Marek Dominiak, Loreen Ople Villacorte, Mads Veje Knudsen and Victor Augusto Yangali Quinta- nilla , Denmark: For inventing the Grund- fos Smart Pump Manifold, a desalination system that uses Grundfos dosing pumps to perform a more precise extraction of brine, with the potential for vast water and energy savings. Business Development Søren Emil Sørensen , Denmark: For coming up with an integrated vacuum degassing system using a modified SCALA pump for removal of gas in heating and cooling systems. Grundfos Scholarships (EUR 30,000) These passionate Grundfos employees have been awarded scholarships to release their own natural abilities and potential via education, training, or international activities: •Karthik Rajan , India: Post Graduate Certification programme in Carbon innovation •Mohammad Irfan Kureshi , India: It takes a lot of Blue to remain Green – Water Treatment programme •Lina Marcela Castro López , Colombia: Business Sustainability Management course •Lukas Hahne, Germany : Diploma in technician electrical engineering. •Erzsébet Guth, Hungary : Kaizen Manager Training •Dev Sayan, Harsha Algotar, ­Lakshmi Narayanan, Nitin Sharma, and Sasikumar Varadharaj , India: Certified hands-on training programme on Industry 4.0 Culture Ambassador Award (EUR 10,000) The prize money is divided equally between three winners: •Alina Gheorghe , Romania: For creating a unique environment for inclusion, growth, and learning in Grundfos Romania through a focus on our people and our customers, improving EMS and ECSS results each year. •Danny Stærk , Denmark: For his exceptional ability to listen and mo- tivate a broad range of stakeholders to work together effectively to deliver innovative solutions and building up the competences in his team. •András Hevesi , Hungary: For his ability to involve, empower, and bring his colleagues together, demonstrating accountability and positivity to deliver ambitious results. 14

Photo: Ruth Pavion 2022 Grundfos People Awards In 2022, Grundfos employees can apply from 21 February to 18 April. pdjf.dk/grundfos-people-awards Environmental Impact Award (EUR 10,000) The prize money is divided equally between the members of the winning team: Luis Antonio Flores Vasquez, José Manuel Goméz Barrera, Irma Gabriela Nino Tovar and Adela Angélica Hernández Muniz , Mexico: For their Wastewater treatment ­project for re-use in production processes, obtaining water savings using our technologies in a country where water scarcity is a real challenge. Community Engagement Award (EUR 20,000) Grundfos Colombia The project Water for Indigenous Wayuu Families in La Guajira provides 400 indigenous people in the Wayuu community with access to basic resources such as safe water, school meals, and time for learning at school (see page 13). The prize money is transferred to the NGO partner, NuevaLife Foundation. Health, Safety and Well-being Award (EUR 10,000) The prize money is divided equally between the members of the winning team: Letitia Winston, Deborah Petersen and Victoria Mulford , Great Britain: For their "Nelly the Elephant in the Room" campaign to start a dialogue on the topic of stress and well-being in a thoughtful and humorous way. 15
